Description: What a treat it is to have boiled wool in the shop.  Made from a wool and viscose blend this fabric is knit and then shrunk, tightening the fibers and creating an uneven textured surface.  The rayon provides a softer drape than wool alone, it also creates a slight sheen to this soft fabric.  Boiled wool won't fray so its a great option for projects with unfinished seams.

always test wash and care instructions on a small fabric swatch

  • hand wash in cold water, gently press the fabric in water with mild detergent

  • fabric will shrink if agitated

  • lay flat to dry - never use a dryer
