Learn to Sew the Buckthorn Tote or Backpack

Welcome to Learn to Sew the Buckthron Tote or Backpack class! These are must have bags for everyday use, and a great project for advanced beginners. Both feature a zip top and oval base for plenty of interior space. An outer pocket is great for small goods with larger pockets inside.
Additional sewing time will be required for the backpack.
All supplies are included in the class.

Length: 2 classes - 2.5 hours
Thursday's November 13th and 20th: 5:45 pm to 8:30 pm
Prerequisite: You will need to know how to operate your sewing machine Including:
- threading your machine
- winding a bobbin
- changing a needle
- sewing a straight stitch
- reading a pattern
What you will need to bring:
An enthusiasm to sew and meet some fun new people!Sewing machines will be provided although you are welcome to bring your own machine.

Class Policies
Age: 14 and up
Class size: Minimum 3 students are required to sign up. If minimum is not met refunds will be provided.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be done 2 weeks in advance to receive a refund.
Make-up classes: One make up class will be provided per month. The next make up classes will be held November 18th.
If you do not have the prerequisite skills required you will need to schedule a private session prior to the class. PRIVATE LESSON RATE IS $55 PER HOUR.
All supplies are included in the cost of the class. Pickup up all supplies (Including fabric and patterns) 1 week before the first class.
