About...
Hi, I’m Robin founder of Stash, a garment fabric store in Burlington, Vermont, created to serve and celebrate our vibrant community of sewists.
With a background in architecture, I’ve always been drawn to design, structure, and the creative process. My journey into garment sewing began in my 30s while living in New York, where I discovered the joy and empowerment of making clothes by hand. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a mission: to make high-quality garment fabrics and sewing resources accessible to others who love (or want to learn) to make their own wardrobe.
Stash is more than just a fabric store, it’s a space for makers. We provide beautiful, high quality materials, thoughtful support, and a welcoming community for anyone excited about sewing. Whether you're just starting out or have years of experience, we’re here to help you find the right fabric, share techniques and ideas, and connect with others who are just as passionate about making.
Stash is proudly women-owned and located in Burlington’s dynamic South End Arts District at The Soda Plant. Come visit, we’d love to meet you and talk all things sewing.
