Lightweight Woven Cotton Interfacing in Black - 43" Wide

Woven interfacing is rigid (no stretch) and works as a second reinforcing layer to woven fabric, for this reason it is important to match the grainline with the fabric. Use woven interfacing at collars, cuffs and waistbands.

Care: Cotton interfacing should be prewashed prior to fusing it, if you skip this you'll find the interfaced fabric will bubble over time as the fabric and facing shrink at different rates. To wash simply soak in warm water without detergent for 10 min and hang to dry. Do not put un-fused interfacing in the washer, the glue could fall off with the agitation.

To apply place the fabric down with the wrong side facing up. Place the interfacing glue side down, the glue side has textured dots of glue and the non glue side is smooth. Place a press cloth over the interfacing and with a hot-steamy iron and count out to 15 giving the glue time to set. Lift and move the iron, do not slide it. Once done leave the pieces untouched until it has cooled
