Learn to Sew a Button Up Shirt

Take your sewing skills to the next level with a Button Up Shirt. We will be working on The Jenna by Closet Core Patterns, this is an oversized menswear inspired button up with either a cropped bottom or classic curved hem. You will learn to sew a button placket, button holes, cuff with a tower placket, collar and stand.
If this pattern does not fit with your gender identity please reach out and we will find an appropriate pattern.
This pattern spans from XXS (31" bust, 33" hip) to 4X (60" bust, 62" hip).
Instructor: Robin Blodgett
Length: 4 classes - 4 hours each - possible homework between classes
Sunday's: October 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th - 10:00am - 2:00pm
Cost: $490 - all supplies are included
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisite Skills: You will need to know how to take your measurements, select your size, cut pattern pieces and follow pattern instructions. This is an intermediate level course, if you are not sure if this class is for you please email us to discuss.

Class Policies
Age: 14 and up
Class size: Minimum 3 students are required to sign up. If minimum is not met refunds will be provided.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be done 2 weeks in advance to receive a refund.
Make-up classes: One make up class will be provided per month. The next make up classes will be held Wednesday September 24th and October 22nd.
Sewing Machine Maintenance: While we are able to help with minor troubleshooting on your machine, our focus needs to remain on advancing the class. Please be sure your machine is in working order, to get the best possible experience out of this class.
If you do not have the prerequisite skills required you will need to schedule a private session prior to the class. PRIVATE LESSON RATE IS $65 PER HOUR.
All supplies are included in the cost of the class. Pickup up all supplies (Including fabric and patterns) 1 week before the first class.
