Learn to Sew an Apron for Beginners

This all gender apron designed by Merchant and Mills is a great project for anyone that wants to start garment sewing! You will learn fundamentals like reading a pattern and cutting fabric, skills you will need before progressing to more complex garments.
The workaday has 3 pockets, and a waist and neck tie that can be lengthened or shortened as needed.
The finished measurements of this pattern are 33 1/2" not including the straps, if you are not sure of the fit please reach out.
Recommended Fabric: Cotton canvas and twill, denim, medium – heavy weight linen.
Length: 2 classes - 2 1/2 hours, 6:00pm to 8:30pm
Wednesday's: December 3rd and 10th
Cost: $150 : All Supplies are Included
Level: Beginner - you have some experience sewing but are new to garments!
Prerequisite: You will need to know how to operate your sewing machine including:
- threading your machine
- winding a bobbin
- changing a needle
- sewing a straight stitch
Sewing machines are provided, however you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
This Class will be held in person at The Soda Plant, 266 Pine Street - Studio 107.

Age: 14 and up
Class size: Minimum 3 students are required to sign up. If minimum is not met refunds will be provided.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be done 2 weeks in advance to receive a refund.
Make-up classes: One make up class will be provided per month. The next make up classes will be held December 17th and February 3rd.
If you do not have the prerequisite skills required you will need to schedule a private session prior to the class. PRIVATE LESSON RATE IS $55 PER HOUR.
All supplies are included in the cost of the class. Pickup up all supplies (Including fabric and patterns) 1 week before the first class.
